Chess takes study… what a statement. You are so incredibly skilled and your ability to see so many moves and work through different scenarios is so amazing to a person who just wants to play a little chess and win sometimes…. It shows your dedication, your stamina and determination to stick with this sport through thick and thin. The fact that you’re able to do this and travel with your family is tremendous. Our daughter was in clogging and I learned that there’s a whole world of competitive clogging out there. Because we traveled to tournaments together I felt like it gave us a few more years together as a family. Now our grandsons play golf with their father and I can see how this will be a lifetime family sport. So win or lose I think you’ve got that and I’m glad that, win or lose, you see the value that you have in making your journey public. Thank you for role modeling courage, commitment and optimism.
