The Woodroom in Flat Rock Google Review

BBQ is a culinary art and science for which Competitions are the crucible through which perfection is honed. Tonight I had the smoked BBQ. A selection of pulled pork, ribs and spicy sausage garnished with collard greens and cheesy grits. Each item was a blue ribbon winner and the combination was sublime. It is a cold and rainy night and test the parking lot was full and the dining room busy and with good reason. We braved the cold weather to meet our good friends from out of state here at the Wood Room in Flat Rock and indulged in what I consider the best BBQ I’ve ever had. And living in North and South Carolina for over 40 years I’ve had a lot. The pulled pork is tender and filled with flavor. The ribs, fall off the bone. The spicy sausage was every bit of that and called for a 2nd White Zombie. The grits were as creamy as Charleston and the Collards were like New Years Day. We are truly blessed to have a restaurant this good right here in town. Congrats to all who make it happen!
