Sublime Grief and Profound Joy
Just looking though some pictures and then it comes in like a storm cloud on an errant wave. The emotions suck me under into a sea of tears and those tears become unstoppable. The sadness, the longing and then the sublime and relentless grief. But coupled with that is the profound Joy of knowing that we had this love in our lives. The knowing that we shared these times, these precious moments in time. Did we take it all for granted then? Yes I know we did. Do I take it for granted now? Please 🙏 No, not ever.
