EV Chargers at Blue Ridge Community College

I was Thrilled to find this resource on the Blue Ridge Community College campus. There were 6 chargers altogether 4 were J1772 the large green stations were the fast chargers while the separate plain unit had two J1772 that were slow but Free!!! I used the EV Connect app for the green stations. I charged for 15 minutes, I got 50 plus miles and it cost less than $2. I do all my charging at home but this is all new to me so I’m exploring resources available for me on the road and so far I have found that I can charge  at Tesla Destination chargers like at Chick Filet using a J1772/Tesla adapter BUT I cannot use the Supercharger network even though the adapter itself fits. Apparently Tesla blocks non Tesla vehicles on the Supercharger network. Hopefully this will change. In the meantime seeing Duke Power put charging stations at Blue Ridge Community and other settings is a big Plus. So I just LOVE my Bolt EUV and wish EVeryone out there Happy Charging!!!
