I was so happy to find Shine open and serving lunch and dinner  during this hurricane Helene aftermath. On both occasions our waitress made us feel so welcomed. We shared short stories about all that had experienced and our concerns but beyond the shadow of those fears she served the most delicious meals and beer and coffee on my different occasions to visit and oh yes, she even accommodated my dog with kindness and a bowl of water. We have dined at Shine before, considering it a more dress up venue, but now in our hours of need, the true essence and commitment to community of Shine shown through.
