Dear Nolan,

It seems like only yesterday that you were just born. Actually, it was about Four Thousand Two Hundred and Seven days ago… but still it doesn’t seem that long ago to me. You are growing up very fast and you’re learning new things everyday. Today you are graduating from 5th grade and that’s a big step. You’ll have many new adventures in the next few years and I will want to hear all about them as you go. You’re a very special person with a great personality and a very kind heart. 

Congratulations on your graduation day and have fun this summer. I will be thinking about you and looking forward to playing catch with you many times in the years to come.
