Beautiful Baby

In the everyday world there are little miracles most of which go unnoticed. Many little miracles that pass for everyday things. This might have been one of those if I failed to take full notice and stop and stop again to say Thank God.
I am so incredibly Blessed and if it is an act of God or that of Nature or if Nature is God, the Miracle is Love.
The Love that was bestowed upon me by Mom and Dad and Sister. The Love that was discovered and inspired in me by my wife Tess and the Love that redefined what love is in my narrow little mind, to love a child. My Child. A love so deep, so strong, so pure, so true and so unexpected that you're almost afraid to acknowledge it, that if you reach out to touch, it might disappear.
And now to see the Love in the eyes of My Child for Her Child. These are Blessings beyond anything I had hoped or wished for. These are Blessings that before I saw them, my minds eye could not conceive them. But here it is. The Love that has come full circle through Mom, through me, through my daughter Lauren and now my Grandson Nolan Ellis. Beautiful Baby, written by my cousin Sandy, whose creative heart and mind put these feelings so eloquently into words and music and performed by Darius Rucker.
