I followed the route done by Dan Moore
BUT I made a what turned out to be a BIG MISTAKE on my return route by stopping at Ingles in Etowah and not following Etowah Schoolhouse road across 64 to link up with Brickyard Road-Fairway-Holly Springs-Turnpike-Warlick-Banner Farm-Ladson-Schoolhouse Etc. It Never Does take you back on 64! but rather joins onto Butler Bridge to cross 26 and then retrace on Hendersonville Road back into Fletch Park. I went down 64 to S Ruby and back to Fletcher. The time on 64 was the WORST PART OF THE TRIP-AVOID 64!
I am emphasizing My Mistake in following the route so I won't make it again. The trip on 64 was dangerous and Not Necessary! All because I stopped at the Ingles and did not pick up the route as it had been done by Dan but headed out on 64 towards Hendersonville. When I got bcak to Fletcher Safe and Sound I had to make up around 13 miles to reach 100 so I road the Hoopers Creek Loop and then around Fletcher Park Trails.
Alls Well that Ends Well!
Observation: I noticed that Garmin did not record as much elevation change as Ride with GPS. I'll go with Ride based on Empirical Evidence - Not sure why the recording difference.
