Sam & Lauren @ Dupont Forest and the Cedar Rock Trail

A Photographers Paradise, Jump Off Rock, Dupont Forest with it's Triple, Bridal and Hooker Falls, provide an endless presentation of panoramic beauty for the artistic eye. Sam has that keen sense of observation and balance needed to capture the unique elements of our environment in a special and memorable image.

The Panoramic Banner Pictures @ Jump Off Rock were taken by Sam
A world class Mountain Bike Trail right in our backyard. This is Cedar Rock Trail, one of the more than 80 miles of challenging biking and hiking trails to be explored in Dupont Forest. Today we chose to walk the trail which includes rocky climbs and expansive rock balds revealing beautiful vistas. The air was crisp and cool with a distinctive snap in the prevailing mountain breezes that alerted your senses and made you glad you brought that extra layer that didn't seem so necessary when you left home this morning.

The trails are well marked with wooden sign posts at strategic intersections and the trails twists and turns are accented with stone markers created and maintained by the bikers themselves.

This Lovely Family of Three was enjoying the Great Outdoors
at a brisk pace. Both Lauren and Sam are Cross Fit Training Participants in Charlotte and think that Dupont offers fun and fitness challenges worthy of every training level. Dexter Morgan, their cuddly Ausie-Poo was just happy to be in Dog Paradise for the day.

Melody and Mandy Hoop Dee Doo - 2 Guys Tops the List Again!

Hendersonsonville Hoopers! I can see it now... Guiness Book of World Records set in Hendersonville. Fundraising and Fitness: 24 hours of HoopLa, Team Hooping, Hoop De Doo Fitness. After walking the world class bike trail in Dupont we were searching for the perfect lunch spot. Criteria; Outdoor seating for Dexter Morgan, my daughters designer gene Ausiepoo a cold beer and a world class pizza. All of that simple meant heading back to 2 Guys but Mandy.... we never expected that. Mandy announced that she has only been in Hendersonville 3 months and at 2 Guys even less and already she felt like family. And like other family members she had her own quirky lovable "Stupid Human Trick" hers being the Hula Hoop. You know exactly what I'm talking about, you had one when you were a kid, girl or boy at some point you had a color coded hoop that you could spin away and would come rolling back where you would spin it up into the air, down your arms, your neck and finally your waist where it would remain in obedient rhythm as long as you continued to "Do the Twist". Remember how easy that was? Well try it again @60 and above.
